Make Way for Some Desserts

Time check: 330PM
Stomach check: Still a bit stuffed from lunch at Gabby's Bistro but can always make some space for desserts
Destination: Sans Rival Cakes & Pastries

It's mid-afternoon and the place is packed.

So many choices, so little space in my stomach.

What shall we have?
The bestsellers, of course: San Rival and Silvanas. Plus a slice of Date & Walnut Dacquoise.

Sans rival: Huh? Should use the butter-meter. Too buttery. Sorry, not my type.
Silvanas: Just right. I could finish the whole box in one sitting.
Date & walnut dacquoise: Too sweet for me, but my travel buddy absolutely loves it.

  1. Date & walnut dacquoise is my love.
I won't leave Dumaguete without having one. :D

  2. Dumaguete sylvannaaasss!!! My fave! But you can actually find good ones here in Cebu from home bakers. ;)

Babe for Food - your BFF in Cebu dining! :)

    1. I've been to Homebakers once but didn't try anything coz I was too full :( I will go there again and have a sylvana! Thanks for the tip! I have tried silvanas from M Unchuan and from that house on Tojong (???) street near Ayala. Lami sad :D

  3. Never tried sans rival but Silvanas are great! Will try Date--

    1. If you find yourself in Cebu, try the silvanas from Mrs U (you can buy it from Islands Pasalubong) :)
