Don't keep your money all in one place.
The lock on the balcony door of our hostel room was broken and there was no safe, so we weighed whether to leave some of our pocket money or to bring all of it when we go out. We decided to bring all our money. And on the night we decided to bring all our money, my friend was pickpocketed! We should have thought to keep some in separate pockets in our bags.
When traveling, do you leave some of your money in the room (even if there's no safe)? Do you bring all of your money with you? Do you keep them in separate compartments of your bag? Please share some tips.
