Wisdom from the Road #7

On strangers
They don't bite.

Don't be shy. Talk to a stranger.
He/She might have an interesting story to tell
or words of wisdom to share.

On a plane to Legaspi, I was seated next to a fifty-ish gentleman who looked like he was traveling alone. I was bored and so I asked if he is from Albay (no, he's from Camarines Sur). One question turned into many random topics that never stopped until we parted ways at Legaspi airport.

Two pieces of advice from Sir Seatmate:
  • If your salary doesn't double in five years, quit.
  • Travel while you're young.
